"Firefighting" mode. You work for yourself more than in the office you left, and have become a hostage of your own freedom. You cannot relax.
Brain fog, slowdown. Tasks that used to take an hour now stretch out over a day. Fear that you are losing your grip and mental sharpness. As if you are degrading and sliding backward.
Perfectionist paralysis. You polish the project to perfection because you think no one can do better than you. Meanwhile, competitors launch mediocre products and take the market.
You exist in a mode of postponed happiness. Vacation, health check-ups, and gym sessions are postponed to "later, someday." And so endlessly.
Stimulants without stopping. Morning coffee to wake up. Coffee all day to keep going. In the evening, alcohol or social media as a source of cheap dopamine to switch off the brain.
Decision fatigue. In the evening you fall into stupor: small everyday choices cause aggression or apathy. You give yourself to the business, leaving only "leftovers" of your resources for family and yourself.
